An oral health assessment (dental check up) is required by May 31st in a child's first year in public school. The assessment must be by a licensed dentist or licensed/registered dental health professional.
A physical exam is required by law for first grade. However, we suggest that you child have a physical prior to starting kindergarten. Please have a physical given after February 21, 2024 so it will meet the health examination for school entry requirement.
