Adela  Adela Castelain  

Mrs. Castelain was born in Santa Rosa, CA and raised in Healdsburg. She attended Healdsburg public schools from K-12, and was in the bilingual education program from Kinder to 6th learning in both English and Spanish. At Healdsburg High, she studied French throughout high school and upon graduating, she spent a year in Brive-la-Gaillarde, France as a Rotary Exchange Student and experienced a year at Lycée d’Arsonval. Mrs. Castelain graduated from SRJC with her A.A. and earned her B.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in 2005. While at GWU, she studied a semester abroad and attended the Institut d’études politiques de Paris in Paris, France. Following her studies, she was employed by the French Ministry of Education and was an English Language Assistant in two collèges (middle schools) in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. While working in France, she met her husband with whom she lived in France for nearly a decade. She is the mother of two children who also attend SRFACS. Mrs. Castelain is an advocate for plurilingualism as she believes language brings people together. She is triliterate in English, Spanish, and French and has also studied Italian and ein bisschen Deutsche.


Corinne Naro

Mrs. Naro is from the Lyon region in France. She moved to the United States two years ago with her family. She has lived in Asia for 20 years before that in Tokyo, Seoul, and Hong Kong. Upon arrival in the United States, she lived in Palo Alto, CA. She has taught in French schools throughout her career. Corinne loves to read, draw, and walk in the beautiful county of Sonoma. She recently earned a Master’s Degree in French as a Foreign Language.
