Sunset

 Alexandra Wiseman, Class 3B, entered the California Coastal Commission art and poetry contest. She created her artwork "Sunset" with pencil and acrylic paint pens. 

Alexandra explains: "My inspiration was the beach. I like to draw animals. I drew seals, seagulls, a western starry plover and a cat. There is a cat on the painting I saw by my ballet studio and it inspired me, that's why I drew a cat too. The animals need to be protected."
